XRP Big Boy (2WD or 4WD)

Go big or go home - and print this.

You're not happy with the size of the XRP? You need more space for sensors? Or just want to make it a really cool off-road RC? Or even use it as 4x4? Connect 2 XRP Frames.

Also have a look at my other models if you want to make it ready for off-road or would prefer a slighly smaller 4x4 frame like the Mecanum Drive offers.

In my opinion this big boy mod and the off-road mod brings the platform onto a completely new level and will make it interesting for a way bigger target audience. 

Print List:

• 2x Bottom Plate
• 2x Top Connector

• 2 more sparkfun motors to make it a 4x4 (ROB-24053)

• Add some enviromental protection
• or upgrade it to a track system

Printer Settings

No special printing settings have been used. But don't be too cheap with the infill and the wall count. You want this part to be strong, it has to withstand some stress. No support needed at all.

Instruction

The installation is really easy. Once you got all parts ready they're really a nice clip and snap experience. Connect the 2 chassis with the bottom plates followed by the top connectors, or the other way, not a lot that can go wrong. 

The parts can also easily disassembled the same way. The chassis has a good and stable connection.
