Espresso Tamper for 52 mm ID portafilter

This a model for a tamper for a 52mm portafilter. It prints in two parts so that you can add ballast to give the tamper more weight. I used copper BBs I had left over from a different project. 

Assembly involves four M3 screws. I used M3x8 but any size up from x8 to x14 should work. The holes are a little small, so you may need to “ream” the entry of the holes with your screwdriver.

There is debate over the food safety of 3D printed models. Do not use with a brass nozzle as they may contain lead. Use at your own risk.
