This support, when combined with a piece of medium-density foam, reduces vibration and noise to a very large degree. I live in NYC and trying to sleep with a noisy air conditioner in your bedroom sucks. This model comes as a flat block, or with a cut-out wedge that conforms to moulding on the window sill.

Instructions:

  1. Measure the distance between the bottom of your air conditioner frame (the metal part behind the plastic fascia).
  2. Adjust the height of the Main body or Extension body to fill the distance above.
  3. Print the bodies as one piece, and print 2-3 pieces depending on how wide your air conditioner is.
  4. Stick a piece of adhesive-backed medium-density foam to the top of the supports.
  5. Place the supports between the bottom of the air conditioner and the window sill.
  6. Turn the air conditioner on, then place one finger on the bottom on the air conditioner and another on a support. You'll feel far less vibration on the support compared to the frame.
