Label something or integrate it into your models.
I designed some holders where you can insert labels as needed:
- They can be easily inserted and removed
- Each label requires only < 2 g of filament for multi-color printing
- Depending on your needs you can use 2-5 rows
- Add any information by changing the text
- They are very legible
Printing:
- Nothing special
- Layer height ≤ 0.20mm
- PLA
- No supports, no brim
- You always need 1x upper label and 1x lower label
- Edit the text
- For more than 2 rows, simply print as many middle labels as necessary
Assembly:
- Wait until the heating bed has cooled down to avoid deforming the parts!
- Use superglue or double-sided adhesive tape to attach the holder
- Insert a label by inserting one side, bending it slightly, inserting the other side and pressing it in the middle
- Use something sharp or a needle to remove individual labels by lifting them
Note:
You can easily center the text after editing
- select the label part
- Click on “Move”
- Copy the x/y coordinates
- Paste the coordinates to the text
- Your text is now centered
