The MPB (Modular Power Block) is the result of many iterations of a flexible, secure and portable case for my large 18650 Battery packs. This model is currently in Version 4. (The Preview image is of Version 3 and will be updated.) The battery lid on the bottom is held in by friction through the weight of the battery pack, allowing fast replacements.
All parts can be printed with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height. 2 Walls recommended, 3 bottom/top layers. 15% Honeycomb infill was used during testing.
You know your printer best, adjust your settings as necessary. Tolerances for holes are tight.
Remixes and compatible modules are encouraged. Feedback, both positive and negative, is appreciated. Suggestions welcome.
The maximum battery size is 6x6 18650 cells with a 40x40 cooler attached to the front-facing BMS.
Assembly instructions are included in the PDF, as well as a more detailed Bill of materials with some non-sponsored links for purchasing.
