Design

This is a helper tool designed to fix Airstream rock guards while cleaning them and the round windows covered. To use it, unscrew the two well known screws, bring the rock guards to almost open position and add the helper from the bottom. Attach the two mounts to the trim strip and tighten the two drills to fix everything in position. See the photos for a better understanding.

Printing

Designed to be printed using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.20mm layers, PETG. See the file description for printing orientation and number to be printed.

In addition to the printed parts, 8 M4 screws of length 10 to 18mm. Select countersunk / machine screw types. Make sure the screws to not extend beyond the plastic surface when assembling the jaw and mount parts. They may scratch the aluminium surface otherwise.
