This is an imbedded magnetic design, so you have to pause the print and insert the geomags/magnets mid-print. My magnet size may differ from yours, in that case I've left .STEP files for easy configuration :D.

V2.5:

Essentially the same as V2 just that instead of using the geomag directly I'm using the magnets that are inside the geomags. If you didn't know geomags (at least the ones I've got) consist of two small magnets and one longer metal rod which is not inherently magnetic.

I experienced a little poor hold when using the geomag, so I got the magnets out of the geomag and used just them instead. This way I got much stronger hold between the two parts.

If you do this do note that the magnets might vary in size, so try to even out the sizes as much as possible between the stacks. You need to cut open 9 magnets if you want a stack of three.

As you can see in the picture, I had two differents sizes. The diameter for my magnets were 4.40mm, and the height was 8.55 for the longest stacks

V2:

New sleeker and simpler design, removed the red, blue and green indicators, removed the male and female version. Found that it didn't really add anything, and it is better if you can cut the magnets to equal lengths. I've cut a few during testing, and it isn't that hard to achieve.Even if there are some differences in length, you can sand it down. Other changes include the transitions from 0,4 to 0,2 mm plastic between the contact points, and moving the grooves more down into the model making it more compact.

NB for Bambu users! :

Added a new even shorter model that just snuggly fits the Bambu lab ptfe tube anchor/coupler that way it can swing as usual! To account for the really short tube of the anchor I have also made a new version of the screw that is necessary for this application.

V1:
This is an imbedded design, so you have to pause the print and insert the geomags

As mentioned there is a male and female version. The male version is for the longer half of the cut geomag, and the female for the shorter

I encountered some shrinking in the filament when printing (maybe because I used a filament from Temu…) So yeah, this accounts for that. But I think you should be fine with having a little bit too large hole anyway if your filament doesn't shrink

There are also markings on each model. They are there to match up the cut geomags (RE with RE etc.). I used three different coloured geomags when cutting so it would be easier to match up with its counterpart. I haven't experienced any differences when pairing up in other configurations though

NB! You should use the fusion files if you want to configure the length or/and size of the magnets. Just pull/push and extrude til you get what you want,

For reference: my geomag length was

Male               |   Female

RE   7.5mm    |  RE 7.5mm

BL   7.5mm    |  BL 7.5mm

GR   7.7mm   |  GR 7.3mm

Normal settings for PLa should do fine, printed with 3 walls.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The main difference from Mikey B's model is that this is an imbedded design using geomag/Vinimagx instead of normal cylindrical magnets. There is also a male and female version now, to account for tiny differences in lengths that may arise when cutting a geomag (V1). Option made specifically to fit Bambus ptfe tube anchor/coupler to get full motion, also added a shorter version of firstgizmo's screw to go with the bambu anchor option(V2).
