I decided to mount my newly printed Hadley to an Orion AltAz tripod, as I wanted to do a lot more with the Hadley, and see just how powerful it can be, This mount, like most mounts required a dovetail plate. In a normal tube telescope, you can buy a ring adapter, which wraps around the outside of the tube, holding it securely. Unfortunately, the Hadley lacks a tube, and the only thing I could find was an adapter that let a ring adapter connect over it. I created this model to solve the lack of proper adapters that slide onto the Hadley rails.
I designed this so that the adapter portion can fit nicely into most plates, while also being close to the size of most bolts used, which negates the need for a wrench or pliers. You need to print out 2 of these and then slide them onto the rails, where the bearing assembly would go, then bolt the dovetail plate to them. Don't lock them in place until you have it properly balanced. You can find a lot of info on mounting a telescope on Google.
*Note, this was created for myself, and not originally for a community piece, though I later decided I would share due to a lack of dovetail adapters. However, you might need to modify it to match your specific Hadley build or Dovetail plate & I have included the Tinkercad link below.
This is the Dovetail Plate I designed this for **I receive no portion of any sales: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LGMW1YP
You can modify the original model on Tinkercad here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6bQyYRzOvEu-hadleytelescope-dovetailadapter

The author remixed this model.
I removed the bearing mounts for the original stand and added in an adapter on use side that fit both the Dovetail plate and size of plate bolt.
