Flying is one of my biggest passions, from small GA planes to what I currently fly, Paramotors. I have a Parajet Mavrick with a Moster 185 and an Offgrid Aviation throttle (love the cruise control). When I installed the throttle, I noticed that the cable spring did not seem to sit on the carb cable swivel well and was rubbing on the cable itself. I flew with it as installed for over a year until the motor needed some maintenance and cleaning.
I started the design by just creating a spring guide so that the spring would sit straight on the carb cable swivel and not rub on the cable. The channel was added at a 90 deg from the swivel channel to help it not fall off in flight. Due to the thin sizes and required print orientation I added some rounded supports which gave me more area to build off of. I then realized that I could add a tab that could go over the top of the throttle arm and swivel C clip and stop the cable from falling out.
