This flashlight holder is designed to snap onto the rim of a 5 gallon bucket manufactured by Leaktite Corporation (and sold by The Home Depot, True Value and Ace Hardware among others.)
Printed on its end, the "LampClamp" is "printed-in-place" and requires no support. . The compression spring is about 10 mm in diameter and 30mm long. Home Depot sells the spring in its Everbilt 685 436 spring assortment. The other hardware items needed are two M5 x 25mm hex bolts and 2 M5 wing nuts. Add washers if you like. The RodPod does require support as it is printed it on its side for strength.. The pivot that attaches the LampClamp to the rod can be printed without support depending on how well your printer bridges.
The other item needed is the rod. I used an aluminum rod that's about 6.8mm in diameter and 700mm long simply because that's what I had lying around. I will include the Fusion 360 files for those wishing to modify for different rod diameters or different bucket rims.
As with most "print-in-place" items, it can be tricky to mobilize the LampClamp after it comes off the print bed. My first effort was a failure due to insufficient clearances. It seems to be working pretty well now... just take it slow and easy and flex the parts back and forth until they break loose.
The LampClamp has a working range of about 20 to 35mm diameter flashlights.
