I dislike bear spray canisters that hang, dangle, are in the way or are inaccessible. This quick deploy holster clips to a backpack belt for easy and fast deployment. I find it easier to place it crossbody, so as a right handed hiker I put the holster on the left side pack belt. I included both left and right versions.

There are several different spray canister lengths, the photos show a shorter canister holstered.

Print hints:

  1. I use a .4 nozzle and .2 layers
  2. I like 3 perimeters and 30% gyroid infill
  3. I think PETG is a good choice for flexibility, strength and UV resistance
  4. No supports are required

Assembly hints:

  1. Insert 2 thin steel wires through the 2 full length holes in the belt clip for strength, when bending the clip around the belt. Otherwise the clip may break at a layer. I found 3' steel wire at Ace Hardware.
  2. After the clip is on the belt, insert a screw or other retainer through the hole at the bottom of clip to secure the holster to the belt
