the adjustable PCB holder tool by @squinn is an amazing tool, but did you ever wish you could hold more than just the PCB? what about the wires you plan to solder? well now you can!!!!

I added a ball joint to the original base, and one to a crocodile clip, and by stacking up these ball joints you can now have helping hands on your PCB holder.

Print Information:

  • Printer:  Bambu Lab P1S
  • Filament: Bambu Lab PLA Matte Black/Marble/ Basic Bambu Green
  • Nozzle: 0.4
  • Layer high: 0.2 (strength profile)
  • Infill: 25%
  • Rafts: No
  • Supports: Yes (for ball joints and crocodile clips)

Supports:

the crocodile clips are not symetrical due to their ball socket, so i tried to find the best way to support them with minimal material waste. the STLs should be oriented the right way, but they should be pointing upwards, with a brim around the ball, tree supports holding the other arm and keeping the centre up.

this was made use of support painting within bambu slicer, which restricts supports to only the bottom region as on my printer it didn't need to go all the way to the wire circles, without any problems.

if you do find a better way to orient this, please let me know and I will update

Additional Info:

i would also use the remixed extendable base if you need more width on the PCB and hands at the same time by @Xargas
