protein skimmer for the pond

I’ve crafted an adapter to construct a protein skimmer from PVC pipes. Additionally, you’ll require a potent air pump and a bit of creativity. The materials needed are:

1. One meter of PVC pipe with a 100mm diameter
2. A ‘Y’ connector to discharge the clean water. I’ve simply glued in a section of 80mm pipe.
3. A 50mm elbow joint
4. Some 50mm pipe to carry away the protein waste.
5. I have a substantial air pump (my air pump delivers 20 liters per minute). 
6. I use three air stones, which are green in the diagram. They pass through the 80mm water outlet and just hang inside the 100mm pipe.
