Balcony net door catproofing/childproofing handle

one of our cats recently learned how to barge the insect net open, so I needed a way to secure the door while keeping the balcony itself open (it's summer) and I had a spare child lock. 

the lock parts wouldn't hold on the handle with the double sided tape that was included on it and the knob holding the translucent strip in place wasn't designed for this angle either so I had to model my own. 

 I printed the thing with 100% infill just to be sure, our cats can get very creative
