Raspberry Pi 5 PCIe Sleeve Style Case for Pimoroni NVMe base
The case has been designed to house the Pimoroni NVMe Base mounted under the Pi.
The case comprises the sleeve case top and bottom sections, sd end and usb end panels,
4x spacers (between Pi and NVMe board) and a reset button.
The small reset button sits in a small square guide recess.
(Printed in PLA 0.10mm to get good definition).
I found it best to print the sleeve halves vertically at 0.2mm PLA with supports on all overhangs.
This resulted in accurate prints but printing flat on the bed produced inaccurate and distorted prints for me. However your mileage may vary.
Assembly guide (sequence I used)
Connect the pcie flex between Pi and NVMe board.
Insert 4x M2.5x20 screws through sleeve bottom half.
Place a place mat or similar board over the base to trap the screws.
Turn over the base and board together and place on desk.
Place the NVMe board over the screws, then place the 4x 6.5mm spacers over the screws.
Then place the pi on top.
Fit the end panels then put the sleeve top half in position.
Turn the whole assembly and place mat over.
Then tighten the 4x screws which will self tap (do not over tighten).
Note I placed a piece of masking tape on the outside face of the sd end panel to hold the button in place for assembly.
I've included an alternative file for those that like to have the official logo printed.
see file - "Main sleeve top with Pi logo"
Hope this helps someone.
