This is a small and a bigger star in Mondrian look. I added some wholes to the spikes to mount them by a string. The yellow and red parts are a bit translucent, which is nice for a mount at the window.
To print the stars, 5 color changes are needed:
At 3.4 mm, 3.8 mm, 4.2 mm, 4.6 mm and 5.2 mm.
First color is white, than yellow, red, blue, white again and black. If you want to use other colors then yellow, red, blue, you should order them by increasing darkness.
Used material is PETG, but PLA should work as well.
Happy printing!
P.S. For OpenScad Fans: One can change positions of the black lines (spokes and circles) and the colors positions only by changing the configuration. But you have to keep in mind, that the matix for color positions must correspond to the number of circles and spokes.
Every rendering of the star produces a little bit different spike form cause of some random function included to the lib_stern openscad files.
