Saw it on some Instagram reel and couldn't find my way back to it, so made it from memory.
Later found it, so this design is inspired by Chris Granneberg lamp called “Analog Task Light”.

I've designed it to fit a GU10 Trådfri, as it's LED and also dimmable.
The GU10 socket I've used.

Preferably you'd put something heavy in the bottom part, I've just put some gravel i mine, it's pretty stable although it makes a rattling sound when moving it around :D

The lamp part is made to fit a 3mm acrylic glass. The idea is that you put a couple of screws in the holes, place two 3mm neodymium magnets onto the screw heads, put some glue on the magnets and the glue the glass to the magnets. This way it's easy to change the light source if you need to.
This also allows you to change the color of the glass, as the light source I've designed it to fit, doesn't have different colors.

Printer settings

I just printed it with PLA 0.2 mm, no supports.

Assembly

  1. Glue the body parts together
  2. Fill the bottom part with any weight, it makes the lamp more stable
  3. Glue on the filter, to contain the weight to the bottom part
  4. Glue the bottom part to the body parts
  5. Install the hardware in the lamp part
  6. Thread the cord through the bottom and body parts
  7. Glue the "bolt" to the top part. I used the nut to keep it under tension while drying.
  8. Thread the cord through the top part and the bolt an glue the top part to the body parts
  9. Connect the electrical cord to the GU10 socket, preferably with Wago connectors or similar (don't forget to thread the cables through the nut first)
  10. Improvise the “glass difusion". I just glued a piece of printing paper to the back side of the acrylic glass. It works OK.

Summary

As this is the first version I'm sure there's things that could be improved. I would love to get the communities input.
