PDF

This stand fits a chassis socket for 9- or 7-pin miniature vacuum tubes, allowing its pins to be accessed when building on a breadboard. Threaded inserts are melted into the recesses beside the central hole and the socket is bolted onto these. The holes on the bottom of the stand are used to screw the stand to the breadboard.

If desired, a working breadboarded design can be easily transferred to a metal chassis by cutting apart the stand.

Printed on a Prusa Mini+ with generic PLA filament. The PLA showed no sign of softening when the tubes were lit for many hours. However, this was a receiver design. It might be prudent to use PET-G filament if the tube is dissipating considerable power, such as in a transmitter design.
