I love the moon lamps, but my daughter wanted one as wall mounted.
I started with the “Progressive Detail Moon Lamp with Rechargeable Moon station by moononournation” on Tinkercad as it has a great threaded base.
You need to print the lamp part at 130% to match the base.
The base is designed to take an E14 SES light fitting, attached using a 10mm threaded bolt and nut. For my bulb I had to trim the top of the light fitting as you can see in one of the photos, wont be necessary for all.
The 2 small holes on either side of the cable exit are for a cable tie to hold it securely in place.
I Included 2 countersunk screw holes.
If anyone can tell me how to get the 10mm threaded tube to print at the correct pitch, I would like to add that to the model also, thus requiring one less part. But when I tried the tinkercad threaded bolt at 10mm it doesnt thread with the light fitting.
This is the light fitting used, just in white. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08C7DQ5XL
