Remarkable geniuses have made our world what it is today. I would like to honour these people with aesthetic sculptures and remember them for their genius and contribution to humanity.

With this second model of the series you can have the brain of Tesla. This sculpture represents the father of modern electricity: Nikola Tesla. To express his genius, I wanted to highlight his genius with the symbolism of his brain. Fot that I redesigned and combined the two models by dkshepp and raining_eyes in the style of Collecticraft from MakerWorld to create my own little monument. The theme of electricity is also represented in the sculpture by the shape of a lightning bolt splitting the head vertically revealing Teslas brain. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to all the following sculptures as much as I do.

I designed the model with a golden brain and nameplate as well as a marble statue in mind, but feel free to be creative and share your versions. I used 3DJake Ecofill Marble PLA and Bambu Lab Gold Silk PLA. The model was designed in Tinkercad and I'm still new to the whole 3D modelling world, so please bear with me.

In the files you can find all the marble parts or all the gold parts in one file as well as each part individually. You can use the short pins to fix the bust to the pedestal. There is two sets on dowels in slightly different sizes to ensure a tight fit even with varying tolerances.

There are two versions of the head and brain available. For easy assembly i recommend the head WITH SEAM even if it means a slight compromise with the aestethics of the sculpture. If you want your sculpture to look as good as possible you can print the head and brain with NO SEAM but bear in mind that assembly takes a lot of force to wedge that good ol' brain in there. It worked for me but depending on the filament could led to cracks. AND PLEASE DON'T HURT YOURSELF!

The model has a height of about 15 cm or 5.9 inches but the STLs can be freely scaled up or down of course.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I punched a lightning bolt shaped hole into the tesla bust, added a back to the bust, made two verions of the bust (WITh SEAM and NO SEAM), sliced the brain into a bolt shaped form, made a version of the brain with a snap-in function for the NO SEAM version, made a version of the brain with two insertions for the WITH SEAM version, aligned the parts, combined them and cut them into parts, added dowels, added a seperate name plate and fixture to the pedestal
