This print-in-place stickman toy walks down a slope with a sliding sidestep gait, using gravity as sole power source. Print several of them and race them against each other ! The runners can be customized by making them hold one out of six optional objects, one in each hand.
Make your own prop for the stickman to hold: the section of the handle should be a 1.4mm square with 0.5mm chamfers on the edges.
This model is very sensitive to weight distribution. Print in PLA with 3 perimeters, 3 top and bottom layer, 15% grid infill. After printing, move the legs back and forth there is no resistance in their motion. The surface should also be hard but not slippery. If the stickman slides down, try rubbing the bottom of its feets on the sticky side of some tape. The angle of the slope is also important, and it might take some trials to get the stickman to walk properly.
Happy printing :)
