Hello everyone. After someone reached out about copyright issues, I have decided to change the mounting system from the default, to my own. It has the same 40 by 40mm rectangular mount but has been changed from the original. The screw system has now been changed along with the dimensions. I have integrated the Human Skull from the "Skull." The skull has been scaled to approximate the size of an average adult human skull and includes a modeled slot for mounting.
I strongly advise against resizing the model in the slicer, as this will alter the mount's fitting. For an aesthetically pleasing finish, a finer layer height is necessary. Given the intricate details and the model's size, the printing process may take several days. Support structures are essential for the skull. I found that organic supports consistently failed, so I opted for Snug supports instead.
Thank you to @HW0IXCZ and @Otech Michal for the wonderful models and inspiration! Also, Thanks to the people that helped me on r/printables with my questions! :D
Final note: The Skull in the image is not exactly like the one in the model (closest I could find). This was due to a Copywrite conflict between the 2 models. I have changed the skull to a model that works with the same copywrite as the Helmet holder. There are small detail differences but overall, it gives the same changes I was looking to do with this model. Both models had all their teeth but due to a printing issue, 2 of the teeth on the print images are missing. I didn't mind very much and just thought it made it cooler. :)
The author remixed this model.
I took inspirations and parts for “Helmet holder low-poly Skull remix” (specifically the stand) and used the skull to put on the end of the mount. I had to add a hole into the skull for the mount and adjust the size.
