I do not have pictures of this model, I made it in 2018. I still have the one prototype I printed from this and when I find it I will take some pictures and upload.
I made this model years ago for a project where I wanted to attach a standard 28mm arcade push button to an ESP32 and be able to transmit a button press to a server.
This box holds one arcade button with a microswitch. The top has a thread which should match a standard sized button. There is a slot inside for a 70 mm x 50 mm x 2 mm protoboard on which an ESP32 can be attached. Cables can then be soldered to the proto board and attached to the microswitch of the ESP32. The lid can be screwed on using a set of self tappers.
To power the ESP, use the built in USB port and route the cable out using the slot in the model, you can put a zip tie on and use hot glue to secure it in place. The wire clearing is 15mm.
