Being a proud owner of a Tesla Model 3, I was looking for ways to improve my car use experience. I do find that shopping bags can fall and loose their content into the boot of the car. Placing the bag into one of the car's bays is one approach, but a trunk hanging hook is a simple approach, too. The Model 3 (and Y) have a protruding M6 bolt which can be utilised for a hook mount.
There are other similar trunk hook designs available for download, never-the-less I decided to create my own design. My design had to meet the following criteria:
- Be strong.
- Be straightforward to print.
- Be able to handle the high temperatures common in cars.
I ended up choosing Nylon as the print filament, though a PETG filament would have been a suitable alternative. Fitted to the printed part is a M6x15mm metal screw insert similar to the following part:

Here is my 3D design. My design may match your needs, too.
My print is made in Polymaker Polymide Nylon 1.75mm black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 25% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
I hope you can find this design useful, too.
Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
