As a rock climber, I found storage while on the rope was few and far in between, so I have designed a few solutions to this issue. This is one of those. Designed for holding tools or bits while routesetting in a gym or bolting outdoors, this box hangs well on a harness or on a backpack. You can use a slot loop at one end to hang it vertically, or print the two small loops that will hold it horizontally, latches up, on a harness, which is my current configuration and has been invaluable. PETG is recommended for outdoors work, which is what is used on the one I have pictured attached to my backpack.
I've attached all applicable STLs. Printing says almost 7hrs, but that file includes all STLs, and will only use two of the caps, cutting that time down significantly. I've also attached the Blend file so that you can adjust things as needed easily in Blender 3D where this was designed.
