I needed a filament spool holder to fit in my new Ikea Pax printer cabinet, so I designed one. It uses 2 holes while blocking 3.
The spool stop is useful if you have spools with different width. Just click it on where you need it.
The spool holder has 80mm space for spools (without the additional stop).
I also designed a filament insert with an M6 winding for a M6 PTFE tube coupling which is also able to rotate. It uses and block 2 holes.
Just use the screws for Ikeas cabinet board holders or other small wood screws to mount them into the cabinet.
Hole distance: 32mm.
Print instructions (see screenshots):
- The spool holder can be printed easily laying on the side with supports enabled
- The filament inlet mount needs to be printed on the side as well to have stronger noses for the screw holes. Use supports.
- The rotating part of the inlet needs to be printed with the winding at the top, add supports as well.
*.f3d files added for you to be able to modify the models using Fusion 360.
