Attention! This is a model of a separate bracket used for a ready-made filament holder.
Note on tolerances and dimensions. I made this bracket model to fit tightly into the holes of my specific filament holder, and it worked well next to my Ender 3 v3 KE printer, which has this filament guide. It's possible that this model may not fit your holder. In that case, I have included the original CAD files so you can modify the bracket model to suit your needs.
Description
I made this bracket model for myself because my filament holder kept falling apart whenever I wanted to move the spool. Additionally, when changing spools, it was easy to accidentally shift one part of the holder, requiring manual adjustment of the width each time. This was very frustrating, so I decided to connect the two separate parts of the holder.
After connecting the parts with this bracket, I noticed another problem: as the filament on the spool ran out, the spool became lighter and would move along with the holder towards the printer, causing it to rub against the printer's frame. To prevent this, I added a protrusion on one side of the bracket to stop the holder from moving closer to the printer.
I am sharing this model because I see that this type of filament holder is popular on Ali Express (I've bought this one) and possibly other marketplaces. If you have a similar holder, you might find this model useful.
