These are two PTFE tube guide systems that attach magnetically to the top (lid) of the original Prusa Enclosure (OPE). It was Part of my EMMS Project, External MMU Mount System for MMU/Ultimulti MMU mod. They are not necessary for the EMMS anymore, so they are regarded as legacy and I kept the files available here.
This guide needs some 10x5 N52 round magnets (Amazon link). It is printed in one piece and should be placed on the print bed like this:
After printing you may have to move the core piece a bit until it can be turned freely. It is a print in place center ball with 360° degrees of moving freedom.
The 10x5mm Magnets are pressed in and don't need glue. You can push the magnets out by using the small hole on the top with a sharp tipped object (allen key).
You can use this to guide the filament directly or by inserting a PTFE tube that guides the filament then. The mount has a little hole in the front where you can secure the loose end of a filament.
The other version (fixed with connection - combo guide, see below). This is to be printed in a different orientation (without supports)
or a fixed linked Version:
Five of the have the corresponding width of the top of the original PRUSA enclosure (OPE). Those have a fixed center and no moving ball in the center:
The are clipped together in a row (making a row as long as you want). The use magnets that are pressed in, no need for glue. You can remove the magnets through the small punching holes on the top surface with a small allen key.
printed it in PTFE with 0,10 FastDetail Settings in PrusaSlicer. No supports needed.
