Vz235 120mm radiator mount (Mellow kit)

General info:

Model created based on Vz235 CAD and radiator measurements from Mellow's watercooling kit (aff link). This mount is attached to Vz235 using existing holes on the standard rear panel.

Designed with ‘mouse ears’ on the sharper corners to avoid warping during printing. The mouse ears are only 1 layer high and are easily removed with a deburring tool (or similar) post-print.

When installed, the top of the mount sits flush with the rear panel.

Printing tips:

• Use a sturdy material (eg ABS)
• Use standard VzBoT/Voron settings, eg:
  • 0.2 layer height (including first layer)
  • 5 top/bottom layers
  • 40% infill
  • 0.4 extrusion width
• File is correctly oriented and does not require supports.
• For a better appearance, consider decreasing perimeters for the first layer (I used 2). This can be applied via a ‘height range modifier’.

BOM:

• 3x M4*12 (button or socket are fine) - to attach the mount to the printer
• 4x M3*6 SHCS - to attach the radiator to the mount
• 4x M3*30 BHCS (supplied with Mellow's watercooling kit) - to attach the fan to the radiator
• 3x M4 T-nuts (roll-in/hammerhead) - these should already be installed with your rear panel

Notes on Vz330:

After reviewing Vz330 CAD, this mount appears compatible.. But you would need to drill 2 additional holes in the rear panel for stability and insert an additional 2 T-nuts.. And there will likely be some interference with the tophat.

If you choose to try this mount on Vz330, you should use the mount as a template for locating the additional holes in the rear panel. Please share your makes if you install this on Vz330, good results or bad!
