In order to protect our wilderness, human waste should be deposited in catholes dug 6-8 inches deep at least 200 feet from water, camp, and trails. This is difficult to do with sticks or hands, so I recommend this trowel.

Due to it's lightweight and compact design it is easy to justify carrying on all trips into the woods.  Toilet Paper can be stored in the reversible handle, incase your main stash gets wet or you forgot it.

Holes included to attach cord to the trowel for easy access outside of a backpack.

~14 sheets of 2 ply can easily be stored in the water resistant handle.

Tested in my garden with clay soil, but it might not stand up to rocky soil as well.

Print the blade at a 45 degree angle for increased strength by placing the back flat area on the build plate using a brim. I found the threads prints better with thinner layers.

Overall trowel is ~8 inches which is the recommend cathole depth.
