I couldn't tell you why I made this, but it works I guess. It is meant to printed from hard plastic, not TPU. The lock-on flexible bit doesn't have much travel, so should you choose to actually print this for whatever reason, you may have to shim with electrical tape or aluminum foil as I did (internal diameter in CAD is 22.5mm). You will need two countersunk M4 screws and nuts for the lock-on mechanism.

IMPORTANT:

• DO NOT use this for mountain biking, you will DIE

• the hard textured bit absolutely destroyed my winter gloves, would probably do the same to bare hands

 

How I Designed This

 

The lock-on "mechanism" is the only original part of this design, the rest is more or less copied from some cheap Chinese grips that happened to be on my Kugoo M4 Pro electric scooter.

P.S. Do not buy Kugoo scooters, they're hot garbage made by braindead baboons
