Umarex Notos Moderator Insert

I wanted to test increasing the sound suppression on my Notos without chopping off the stock moderator. So I made a new insert with more baffles that can be used stand alone without the external suppressor. This baffle insert increases suppression slightly over the stock baffle.

You will drive out the 2 pins holding the endcap on, from the top down towards the bottom. You will need a 1/16 or 1.5mm punch. Remove the stock baffles and o-ring, insert the new baffles and the o-ring on top, then install the encap with the pins. 

Adding the external suppressor increases suppression to the point you only hear the spring and click of the firing pin and action noises. The external suppressor was remixed from Kilian Goeswisch's stackable suppressor to make it shorter and compatible with the Notos stock suppressor. 

Print the encap, mount, and body with .10mm resolution for the threads. You will definately need some silicone grease or oil on the threads to install. A vice or some sort of work holding REALLY helps to get everything screwed together as the threads are pretty tight.

I then glued the insert to the bottom of the modular suppressor with some super-glue, but you can used them seperate with the O-ring as a buffer. Insert into the Notos housing, then using a 1/16 or 1.5mm drill bit carefully clean up the pin holes. Reinsert pins from the bottom up.

You can print just the internal baffles, or the external as well. All models should be printed as oriented in STL with zero supports, except the mount. The mount will require full supports from the build plate.
