X-Carve with Dewalt 611 Spindle - JTech Front Laser Mount

This is a custom laser cutter/engraver mount for the Dewalt Spindle Holder in the X-Carve CNC Machine.

The laser head is built by JTechPhotonics. I use the 3.8 watt Version, but any head should fit (as of Sept/2017).

This will mount your laser to the middle of the spindle mount. Dust shoe will fit, but can't be used with the shop-vac hose connected.

I used slots instead of holes to allow for the head to be moved up/down for fine tuning the distance to the work area. In my case it was mounted at 2.0" from the work surface with enough clearance from the work area to the collet. The beam focused perfectly within the factory recommended distance (1" to 3").
