This is a 3 piece concrete mold for a plant pot. You can scale it to the size you need, just don't go to small or the walls will be too thin.
- 1x center piece
- 2x side piece
- 4x clips
STEPS:
- Clip the sides together
- Put a line of hot glue on the inside of the pot to seal the gap between the sides.
- Use Hot glue to attach the center piece to each of the sides.
- Spray cooking spray liberally into the inside of the mold so that the concrete can be removed easily.
- Mix your concrete. Use a sieve to remove larger rocks from the concrete mix before adding water if you want a smoother finish.
- Pour a quick setting concrete mix into the mold a little bit at a time, tapping the walls to get rid of bubbles along the way.
- Allow it AMPLE time to dry before removing it. I recommend at least a couple days. Keep it in a dry area when setting. If you remove it too early, it will crumble.
- To remove the pot, take off the clips, and GENTLY begin to wiggle the sides off. Remove the center last by GENTLY squeezing it in each direction until it pops out.
- Sand the exterior with fine sandpaper and spray it with a laquer/clear primer to keep it from shedding dust. Paint if you want.
