Customizable Magnetic Cable Management

The openscad file lets you generate custom models that:

• Are properly sized for your desired cables
• Fit appropriately sized neodymium magnets (bar or disc)
• Do exactly what you need (hopefully)

Notes

• Uses BOSL2; to use this file you need to do one of the following:
  • Install the library
  • Download the library to a folder named BOSL2 in the same directory as magnetic-cable-management.scad
  • Download the convenience zip file I have attached that has BOSL2 included

Pregenerated

There are some pre-generated models included. These models have not yet been tested; planning to fully test them soon, but the tolerances on the magnets might need dialed in. I recommend using the openscad file to generate exactly what you want instead of these.

Arches

• Small - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
• Medium - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
• Large - 20mm x 3mm disc magnets
• XLarge - 20mm x 3mm disc magnets

Velcro

• XSmall - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
• Small - 18mm x 6mm disc magnets
• Standard - 18mm x 6mm disc magnets

Cable tie

• XSmall - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
• Standard - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
• Large - 10mm x 3mm disc magnets
