What is this?

The Aquifer is an introduction into a new subset of 3d printed designs, water-guns! For a while now, Hasbro's offerings of Super-Soakers have been subpar, and I wanted to change that. I liked the idea of the water magazines and the electric water-guns of the early 2010s, but I thought they could be improved on. Thus, the Aquifer was born!

What's special about it?

  • The Aquifer features an electric pump that has been suped-up with an Out of Darts Kraken motor. This provides higher pressure than the older Hasbro water-guns
  • Interchangeable nozzles allow for a variety of firing types with a quick twist on and off
  • Various adapters to different water-bottles and other containers create many options for magazines while also providing a use for old bottles
  • Open source designs allow for other designers to expand with new nozzles and bottle adapters
  • Threaded rod assembly provides a rigid stock and frame
  • Minimal supports needed in printing
  • No custom fitting or valves. Printed fittings are watertight, cheap, and replaceable
  • Battery contained in stock which keeps it out of the way of any splashes

Disclaimer: This water gun is meant for hobbyists, Lipo batteries can be very dangerous if not handled properly. This water gun must be operated correctly to avoid injury. I am not responsible for any injuries from this water gun. Please use a bright/blaze orange muzzle and nozzle on this water gun. This water-gun is not able to be submersed in water. While simply splashes will likely cause no issue, the blaster is not watertight without extra work to seal it.
