I was always kind of upset with how heavy the stock MK3S+ and Bear toolheads were, so I decided to modify a friend's Orbiter mount to work with the amazing Annex Engineering Sherpa Mini extruder (link to github below). Prints have been much cleaner with the Sherpa Mini compared to the Orbiter, and the toolhead is significantly lighter than stock! Huge shoutout to KenadyDwag44 on discord for the original Orbiter mount design and also helping out with testing this Sherpa Mini mount! The pictures attached are courtesy of him! Any and all feedback is welcome! If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up on Discord: Solar#9135
EXTRUDER CURRENTS: If you use this extruder with stock Prusa firmware, be sure to change both of the extruder current values at the bottom of your start gcode in your slicer to 400. The extruder motor will run hot, but that is normal.
Also pictured in the render and on Kenady's printer is my BearEXXA DeltaP V2 remix to accommodate rigid mounting a TL or Phaetus Dragon hotend! https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/90925-bearexxa-delta-p-v2-r2-for-dragon-hotend
NOTE: This design does use heat set inserts and will only fit the BearEXXA carriage. You will need 3x5x4mm. I recommend picking up this pack of 100 from deepfriedhero: https://deepfriedhero.in/products/threaded-heat-insert-nut
Print with gregsaun's BearEXXA perameters at 0.2mm LH in ABS/ASA/PETG/HTPET+ or similar with no supports: https://github.com/gregsaun/bear_extruder_and_x_axis/blob/master/manual/print_settings.md
