Expandable / Modular Wall Mount Spool Holder

I needed a wall mounted spool holder to finish up my MMU setup, I don't have the space for the unoriginal Prusa dry box, also it would disable the lid on the Prusa Enclosure making access to the MMU quite painful, all the other designs on here where using a continuous pipe or broom stick, but I wanted to be able to switch out spools individually, without need to take out all spools together each time.

This setup is modular and you can expand it to as many spools as you like.

The default clearance between each holder is 79mm, which should be more than enough for most spools around, if you need more or less clearance, I've added a step file of the distance plate that you can modify to your liking.

If you don't want to use the distance piece at all, you can easily fill out the slots in the holders by adding a custom part in Prusa Slicer in this area.

Necessary parts/hardware per section:

• ø50mm PVC pipe with 90mm length
• 2x end caps glued in with CA or UHU Plastic
• 1x distance plate
• 2x countersunk head screw M3x6mm
• 2x Spax 4,5mm or similar per holder

In the 3mf files you'll find all necessary settings I used for the different parts, additionally the distance plates are numbered 1 - 5 there.
