This is a slim snap case for an RG405M to help it travel better inside a bag.
It's intended to re-use the original packaging foam piece to protect the front face. Place the RG405m in the case, place the foam piece on top and apply a couple pieces of double stick tape, then close the case and apply just a tiny bit of pressure and the foam should stick in place to the top for a perfect fit.
Thread some filament through the edges and give the ends a little melt to keep it in place.
I removed some of the branding from the original model as well to make it a little simpler looking.
I printed it in PETG with a 0.2mm layer height and it fits well.
I included the blender files I used when modifying them. They're not perfect. If someone wants to clean up the meshes to make them pristine, I'd happily take the improvement.
The author remixed this model.
I liked the original case concept, but I didn't want the branding and I didn't want to hunt down some felt for the inside so I reused the original packaging foam with some double stick tape.
