Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to any home or office, this ammonite sculpture serves as a striking centerpiece. Its neutral tones blend seamlessly with any modern decor style. It can be placed in a modern base ensuring stability and so enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The distinctive ridges are most prominent with the light source coming from the side of the sculpture. Perfect for those with an interest in natural history or paleontology.
The dimensions with the stand included are 119mm x 100mm x 137mm
Assembling the ammonite
To connect the shells ideally use a tootpick or a piece of 1.75mm filament. But any rod with approximitally 2mm diameter will work just fine. Cut it in two parts of each 25mm long. Insert the parts in the openings and optionally add a bit of glue for a firm bond.
Assembling the stand
Insert the short leg in the front slot of the base and the two identical long legs in the back slots. Only the short leg can be placed in the front slot. There are cutouts on the bottom specifically for antislip pads. I recommend three square pads from Suki, 20mm x 20mm. But the stand also works without them.
In the images, the ammonite is printed in brown sedimantery rock PLA. The stand is printed in white marble and matte black PLA.
