Nova Plexus is a puzzle invented by Geoff Wyvill and made in metal by https://twobrassmonkeys.com/  The puzzle is made from 12 identical rods and when assembled is self-supporting, amazing but delicate!

Many shapes will fit neatly inside your metal Nova Plexus puzzle, the most obvious being a ball or sphere (of diameter less than 55 mm).  I like to use a tetrahedron, which draws out the tetrahedral symmetry of the puzzle shape.

This is a hollow tetrahedron which prints on a face without supports. It is designed to fit inside the Two Brass Monkeys metal Nova Plexus. The model in my photos is printed in gold silk PLA. The puzzle is (slightly) more difficult to assemble with the tetrahedron inside.
