Weber Traveller tube bracket

This grill is fantastic, but the original tubes don't last long. Why not do a conversion to fit bigger tubes, either 2kg like I have, or even bigger 5kg tubes.

On the pic below I have removed the original regulator with tube. The purpose of this model is to have somewhere to attach the new tube. You print this bracket, attach on the original screws for the removed regulator.

You need the following items:

• 8mm tube, maybe 2 m long. One piece of ~250 mm for this first piece in pic.
• Quick connector, male part on pic.
• Fitting for the 3/8" Weber part which you leave on the valve.
• A new regulator, depending of what tube you got. It should be 30 mbar. I have a typical “camping regulator” see pic.
• Four tube clamps
• This bracket which you print in PETG preferably.
• Two screws for the bracket.
• Three tie straps for the tube.
