The DJI FPV drone, while renowned for its impressive flight capabilities and advanced features, is often criticized for its brittle frame. This inherent fragility makes the drone susceptible to damage from crashes and impacts, which can be a significant drawback for enthusiasts who push their equipment to the limits. To address this issue, I designed a carbon fiber frame with a 3D printed cradle. The carbon fiber provides exceptional strength and durability, significantly enhancing the drone's resilience. Meanwhile, the 3D printed cradle ensures a snug fit for the drone's components, offering additional protection and reducing the risk of internal damage during rough flights.
Testing is ongoing, currently 3d printing for test fitting.
Open for remix, reuse, sale, commercial I dont mind. If you can get these out in the world, take DJI FPV electronics and make a more robust drone, power to you.
