This darn joystick is too stiff! Yeah… this will help some.
This should work for all Speedlink branded Competition Pro joystick variants. Lift the microswitch plate up from the base, pull off the C-clip from the end of the shaft, and replace the black part in the photo with this one.
PLA or PETG (I went with PETG,) textured or smooth plate, 0.16 layer height, 100% infill (walls are too thin to bother and you want this thing to be solid.)
.STL in millimeter scale. Print wide end down with support enabled. Supported surfaces aren't on any critical tolerances. The spring rides on the outer rim, which is the only place you should maybe clean up a little bit, but for the rest of it just picking it off is fine.
The author remixed this model.
Tightened shaft tolerance by 0.1 millimeter to remove rattle.
Simplified model to reduce overhangs and add strength.
Added boss to stop joystick from being pulled vertically up past the microswitches, same as the original part did.
Added a square version which is similar to the classic Competition Pro, which adds a little more bias to diagonals.
