X axis limit switches for Vevor 3018 CNC

Couldn't find any existing models that fit my Vevor 3018 CNC - so I designed limit switch holders myself.

I couldn't find any existing models that fit my Vevor 3018 CNC - so I designed limit switch holders myself. They are quite specific to that machine and my use case … but maybe it helps somebody else :)

Print one limit switch holder as-is and one mirrored. Cut one of the screw tabs of of each limit switch - I used wire cutters and then filed the surface smooth. Screw the limit switch to the holder with an M4 screw and nut … if the soldered pins are a bit too long, give it another go with the file. Screw  the limit switches to the lower X support rod using T nuts and M4 screws.

Clip the wing to the spindle carriage - it will sit very tightly. Adjust the position of the switch to trigger shortly before the carriage bumps into the side walls. If the actuator tab on the switch is too long, you can also cut it a bit shorter with the wire cutters.
