Since dust can gather in the filament as it sits there for days before the next print, and this can cause problems in the printer itself, I designed this dust cover to protect it.

There are two models, one with a cutout for the filament to go up to the tube, and there is one that doesn't have said cutout, so that you can modify it to your liking and make a different cutout shape, or even a tube that goes up to the printer's tuber.

I used PETG to print this, as I don't have black PLA, but PLA should also work just fine. It took 3:30h to print (in the K1) and approximately 145 grams of filament.

It was designed for the K1, as it is the printer I own, but it will fit and spool holder that has a hole with diameter of 26.4 mm (which is what I measured in the K1).

The model is already positioned in a way that won't require any supports to be printed.

Hope it helps you!
