While searching for ways to organize all my loose silicone wire for small electrical projects I came across Amarpal's great spool holder for Striveday branded wire (https://www.printables.com/model/335655-wire-spool-holder-striveday). This worked for some of my wire, but I had plenty of sizes without spools and most of the designs available for wire spools aren't easy to print or aren't designed with smaller gauge wires in mind.
I designed this to match as closely as possible the dimensions of the Striveday spools with a 55m outer diameter and a 25mm inner diameter. Ease of printing was a priority, so the spool prints in two pieces and threads together. I also added a small hole to aid in spooling (works well with 16ga wire and smaller). A full spool will print on a standard bedslinger in around an hour and use 13g of filament.
