Water Wells for Painting

A dual well for painting allows a dirty water well and a clean water well. Includes a drip gutter around the base to catch as drip from wiping the brush across the rim

Notes: Print at whatever resolution and layer height works best for you (or got all out on speed), there's no fine detail on this to lose.

Post-Printing

Test for water-tightness

• First print had a small issue resulting in a gap between layers (looked like a bit of fluff contaminated my resin) but this was repaired with a little superglue
• Second print was perfect

Spray with primer - Optional

• I decided on a light cover of white primer mostly, just because I didn't fancy a grey pot

Seal with a varnish - Probably optional

• I gave my wells a cover of Acrylic Gloss Varnish to help prevent any discolouration from the paints
• Also helps to give an hydrophobic finish to aid in cleaning and drying
