Problem:
We had a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling in our basement. If I would replace this with a normal ceiling light, the piping around the light socket would block 50% of the light going into the room.

Solution:
I made a 2 part system that can be clicked together with a clamp fitting and hold a low weight ceiling light (in my case: a Philips Moire CL200 LED lamp. When mounted the parts can still turn opposed to each other. With the new light we have a lot more pleasing/soft light now.

I made several sizes for ease of use (images are with the 5cm mount and 10cm spacer so 15cm total). The passthrough options also have a space on the edge to pass cables through.
Screw holes are the same for the mount and spacer parts providing a range between 8cm and 9,8cm.

*** Please note that this is NOT designed for heavy light fixtures, and I have not tested for durability. Use at own risk! ***
