Celtic style placemats and coasters for Christmas.

Files prepared using Blender and images from Pinterest and other sources

Print instructions

They are printed with the patterned surface on the printbed. This gives a smooth finish and incidentally reduces the waste in the wipe tower.

Each pattern is in a .3mf or gcode file

For .3mf Open project in Prusa Slicer. View underside Press 2.

Allocate colours and specification to each filament. Set filament to each stl file. The result will appear on the screen.

Print settings used 0.2 mm layer Shells Perimeter 2, Top 3, Bottom 5 or 6. Infill 20% Gyroid.

Coasters - set diameter from 200 to 100. Keep thickness the same Unlock Scale Factors and enter values.

One file is MidBase. This is there to prevent a strong colour of the top base affecting the pattern if a pattern colour isn’t dense. If needed i normally set to white and use bottom 6

For .gcode Order of Filament colours Blue, White, Light Green, Red, Dark Green.
